Torredembarra and Altafulla offer you many possibilities to practice sports: in the residential complex you can play tennis. The usual kinds of water-sports are offered at the main beaches. The nearby riding-stable and a go-kart-circuit should also be mentioned .
Culture
 
The offer for those interested in art and culture is overwhelming:
Only a few hundred meters from your house lies the famous roman villa of Els Munts. Together with the roman testimonies of the nearby province capital Tarragona (14 km), it was appointed World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO in  2000.
The Catalan capital Barcelona is at a distance of only 74 km and you can get there also comfortably by train (approx. 30 min.). Here you can admire the world famous buildings of Gaudí, like the church Sagrada Familia shown beside. Further cultural highlights are the numerous renowned museums, such as the Fundació Miró, the Museu Picasso and the Fundació Antoni Tapiès.

The lanes of the historic old town, the so called "Gothic Quarter", or the world famous "Ramblas" are a fabulous place to stroll. And in the  new shopping mall "Maremagnum" by the harbour you can make many kind of purchases. 
Football fans should not miss a visit to FC Barcelona's home stadium "Camp Nou".
Fun and entertainment

One of the obligatory places to visit is "UNIVERSAL Mediterránea" the adventure park near Salou, that you can comfortably get there by car or by train. In 5 different sceneries  (Wild West, Mexico, China, Polynesia and Mediterranean) a great number of attractions and shows make sure that the stay remains in mind of both, adults and kids.
 

Gastronomy

How about a culinary excursion to the wine district Penedès?
In Sant Sadurní d'Anoia you can visit the wine-cellars of Freixenet and Codornìu.
And with a little bit of fortune you may assist one of the village festivities with the "construction" of the famous "human towers".
